Business Development Representative (Remote)


Position Overview:


As an Inside Sales Representative with Byga, you will be responsible for a variety of outbound sales efforts and driving new business. Your primary focus will be on:


  • Prospecting
  • Lead generation
  • Demonstrating our software to youth sports organizations
  • Proposal creation
  • Potentially supporting clients in trials on the platform
  • Closing clients and supporting their transition to Byga


This is a remote, US based, contract position that includes an incentive compensation package.


Responsibilities:


  • Prospecting: Conducting outbound sales efforts, including prospecting, lead generation, cold calling, direct email communication, working with current customers as referral selling partners and to find and engage with potential customers with the primary goal of Byga gaining a new client, and short-term secondary goal of scheduling a demonstration with that prospect.
  • Product Demonstrations:  Once adequately trained/approved, conduct sales demonstrations to prospective clients. Lead demonstrations, respond to questions, provide company directed messaging to position Byga ahead of competition.
  • Proposals:  Once adequately trained/approved, prepare and send client proposals.
  • Account Closure/Trials: Complete the sales process (and/or initiate a trial), getting to client confirmation of intention of a switch to Byga platform. In cases of trials, remain in the lead role for communication and support to ensure the trial is favorably completed.
  • Relationship Building: Building and maintaining relationships with customers and prospects, understanding their needs, and providing solutions through effective communication and relationship management techniques.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Managing and updating sales pipelines, tracking leads, opportunities, and deals using our CRM software to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Product Knowledge and Expertise: Developing in-depth knowledge and expertise with the Byga software platform, understanding its features, benefits, and competitive advantages, and effectively communicating this information to customers and prospects.
  • Collaborating with Internal Teams: Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as marketing, customer success, and product management to ensure seamless communication, coordination, and alignment of sales efforts with overall company goals.


Qualifications:


  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with a software or technology company.
  • BS/BA in Business, Marketing, Sports Management or Communications (other degrees may be substituted)
  • Good communication skills.
  • Persistent and diligent.
  • Aptitude and understanding of youth sports and software.
  • Club soccer, lacrosse or volleyball experience preferred.



Customer Success Manager (Remote)


Position Overview:


The Customer Success Manager is a strategic and supportive partner for Byga clients at every stage of their software trial, production implementation, and on-going product usage. The position is focused on building loyalty to ensure long-term client retention by presenting product information, training for product best practices, addressing customer issues and assisting the sales team with sales and renewals.


This is a remote, US based, contract position.


Responsibilities:


  • Ensure each prospective clients or account is handled with utmost care and respect throughout process, reinforcing Byga's reputation for outstanding support.
  • Own the entire relationship when assigned clients, including onboarding, implementation, training, adoption, retention, and satisfaction.
  • Establish relationships as a trusted and strategic advisor to help ensure the continued value of our products and services.
  • Develop and maintain customer-success strategies and best practices, as well as customer- support content, with help from the creative team.
  • Communicate effectively with both internal and external senior managers to better understand customer needs, maximize retention and growth, and share insights.
  • Provide proactive customer outreach to reinforce client relationship while identifying areas of opportunity, highlighting best practices, and documenting both.
  • Develop personal product application knowledge quickly through self-driven product experimentation, review of product documentation, and note-taking during both internal and external Byga meetings.
  • Attend conferences when requested, such as United Soccer Coaches Conference and USA Lacrosse annually held in January.
  • Other items as requested in writing.


Qualifications:


  • Three to five years of experience in communications, marketing, sales, account management, or customer success
  • Strong skills in verbal and written communications, strategic planning, and project management
  • Analytical and process-oriented mindset
  • Active team player, self-starter, and multitasker who can quickly adjust priorities
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Knowledge of CRM and project management tools
  • Experience in youth sports administration



Customer Service Representative (Remote)


Position Overview:


As a customer service representative, you will be responsible for answering questions and discussing product offerings with customers to help meet their unique needs. 


This is a remote, US based, contract position.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide introductory information to new and existing users.
  • Ensure that customers questions are answered and are satisfied with products or services.
  • Determine the most effective ways to answer a client’s or customer’s questions.
  • Escalate queries and concerns appropriately.
  • Troubleshoot common issues.


Qualifications:

  • Help lead the end-to-end development of our SaaS web application, ensuring it meets the highest standards of performance, security, and scalability.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and design cloud-native architectures.
  • Utilize your expertise in AWS services to architect, deploy, and maintain cloud-based solutions that align with business needs and best practices.
